Buy the M8401Vintage Dress sewing pattern from McCalls. It’s perfect for an advanced beginner/intermediate dressmaker. Vintage 1950's Sewing Pattern. Midriff dress with four-gore gathered skirt. Midriff is seamed to bodice back. Front midriff is faced and included in side seams and waistline seam only. (Complete front bodice under midriff.) Corded piping in waistline seam. Small collar, back neck opening and left side zipper placket. Short set-in sleeves. Optional rick rack trim. Authentic Vintage Reproduction includes additional size options and cutting layouts.
